In my years working in the trades and services industry, I have always been frustrated with bosses or companies in general cutting corners or cheating someone to make more money, and ultimately not delivering what the customer wants. As an installer, I’ve always put quality of work above rushing to finish a job . I have found that practice keeps systems running more efficiently, for longer time periods, with less maintenance. When maintenance or troubleshooting is required, there is no substitute for a quality installation. It saves time and money in the long run. Every time. In pursuit of this, I have found it to be most helpful to frame things from the customer’s perspective. Remembering that we’re working on someone’s house or other property always forces us at Exemplary Services to do onto others are we would want them do onto us.
